False Teacher T. D. Jakes: "Got No Problem With Homosexuality In Church"

The stubborn and gullible "Christians" suddenly find themselves in a state of denial: their favorite preacher, a standout among the pack of ravenous wolves - T. D. Jakes - days ago has affirmed his support for homosexuality within the church as a product of his "already evolved and still evolving" views on the subject. Again, this is not an isolated case of political correctness trumping the Word of God in the secular platform but a supposed "man of God" shamelessly prostituting biblical truth for earthly gains.

In the Huffington Post interview while promoting his new book, T.D. Jakes obviously was not at all unhinged nor exhibiting any discomfort when the subject of "homosexuality in the church" was brought up. Given his stature in both the Christian community and the secular world, he couldn't afford to be assuming he'd be spared of questions as controversial a topic as "homosexuality in the church". He knew all along he would definitely be asked (in that regard).

When pressed on his take on "homosexuality in the church", T.D. Jakes had no qualms advising same-sex couples to find a church that affirms their lifestyle. By this he means, some churches may not be accepting nor condoning of  practicing homosexuals into their congregation,  but there are some that accept and in fact, allow practicing homosexuals into leadership positions in their church. Of course, we've heard that many so-called Christian churches have now embraced same-sex marriage and even ordained openly gay and lesbians as ministers. And this is where T.D. Jakes would want same-sex couples to come to.

False teacher alert: biblical truth doesn't evolve to suit man's evil ways

His message can be plainly construed as an attempt to appease the secular world, and selling a brand of Christianity that is accepting of all lifestyles as long as people come to church (any church), and seek God. He would refuse to unequivocally state his position that biblical truth should be the foundation by which all men should lead their lives. He dreads to bluntly tell his audience in simple terms that the practice of homosexuality is a sin, and that there is a good news that people can be rescued from their sins and that is through believing on the Lord Jesus Christ and through repentance.

What does Jakes mean when he said that his position on homosexuality is both "evolved and evolving"? Whatever his position may be on basically everything is totally irrelevant if it contradicts the scriptures. If he suddenly sees homosexuality and same-sex marriage to be okay due to popular demand, then let us leave it up to him. It is between him and his Creator. At least doubts of him being a false teacher can now be laid to rest as he himself took to a popular platform to self-expose his true colors.

Further, in a question and answer segment, he was asked by a viewer if he believes that homosexuals and the black church can co-exist. "Absolutely...I think it is going to be diverse from church to church. Every church has a different opinion on the issue and every gay person is different," he replied. "And I think that to speak that the church - the black church, the white church or any kind of church you wanna call it - are all the same, is totally not true." He said that he thinks homosexuals should find congregations that affirm their lifestyle.

"LGBTs of different types and sorts have to find a place of worship that reflects what your views are and what you believe like anyone else," he outlined. "The church should have the right to have its own convictions and values; if you don't like those convictions and values and you totally disagree with it, don't try to change my house, move into your own...and find somebody who gets what you get about faith," Jakes added.

God's way of exposing wolves in sheep's clothing

From a listener's vantage point, Jakes replies to questions thrown at him appeared to be intentionally ambiguous, and at best gave the impression that he supports same-sex marriage. Why on earth he will recommend same-sex couples to find a church that has no business telling homosexuals to repent of their lifestyles? Does he believe the message of the gospel varies from one church to another and is open for interpretation as it may differ depending on the backgrounds and leanings of people in the church through whom the message can warp into another form, at their convenience?

What does he mean by his position on homosexuality as "has evolved and is evolving"? What verse in the Bible would conform to such a statement? Clearly Jakes has an issue with identifying sin at its face value for fear of backlash. He could not afford to upset the politically correct militants at the expense of undermining the authority of scriptures. Let us not forget that he sought to promote his book through a popular forum and in effect he knew his stand on certain issues as controversial as same-sex marriage will at some point be a target for scrutiny. And that is exactly the purpose of the interview: God has exposed one of the wolves in sheep's clothing.

T.D. Jakes had even the temerity to lambast the so-called heresy hunters for pouncing on him when his interview created a social media firestorm. He accuses those who exposed him as having ulterior motives to advance own agenda but offering no clarification for his ambiguous statements. Still, he refuses to call black black and white white but opens up boundless gray area for society, church and government as a playground for sin. His stubbornness to call out the practice of homosexuality as sin shows his contempt for the purity of scriptures because doing so invites disaster on his business empire.

"Know you not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortionists, shall inherit the kingdom of God." ~ (1 Corinthians 6: 9,10)

No wonder so many important parts of scriptures have no chance behind pulpits at so many churches today because they are deemed irrelevant and do not cater to the need of this generation. They instead develop the habit of cherry-picking favorite verses to make them feel good even if they wallow in sin as long as they are just being themselves then God would be very proud of them, right Victoria Osteen? Megachurch preachers are into a painful struggle daily to omit the words sin, hell and repentance in their sermons much less the mention of abortion, adultery, fornication and homosexuality to their congregations. And if they did? that would be a clear diversion from their calling to bring only the message of love, peace, and unity, right Joel Osteen? And if they did, business empires could soon be crumbling down for tithers will be finding themselves rushing out in exodus.

The purity of God's word a stumbling block for lovers of the world

In His own words, Jesus said: "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away" (Matthew 24:35). The apostle Paul spoke of Jesus' immutable attribute in Hebrews 13:8 that says, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever". And he added that "all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works (2 Timothy 3:16,17).

T. D. Jakes is one incredibly filthy rich pastor who just like any typical megachurch pastors is living a high life  from amassing millions of dollars from his "inspirational feel-good" books and other diversified "gospel"-related interests, that even if he quits his ministry today - given his fortune - he and his progenies up to the third and fourth generation - have their "future" already secured . Wonder of wonders: why would a massively wealthy and influential gospel preacher wantonly (and consciously) fall into the evil trap of political correctness in order to remain popular, loved and esteemed by the world?

"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that does the will of God stays forever." ~ (1 John 2:15-17)

Obviously, no matter how plain and simple God's written word is, still a whole bunch of false teachers and prophets will have difficulty absorbing it. They have been exposed on countless occasions, still half-baked Christians come to their defense instead of standing up for biblical truth. It's either you are with God's truth or against it. It's either you serve God or Satan, there's no gray area to God. Sin is sin and nothing in between. Choose this day whom you serve.
